SIAP's Maniago plant, in Pordenone province in Italy's northeast, is specialized in the production of hi-tech gears and forgings.

As part of an integrated Total Quality system, steel also undergoes preliminary treatment (annealing, normalizing, hardening and tempering) and final treatment processes (carburizing, quenching and induction hardening) at the Maniago facility.

There is also a laboratory that handles metallurgical analyses according to international standards EN 45.000.
